Root lost root. need help!!

I've had my phone rooted basically since I got it. I've been running cm7 rc2 and a couple days ago, when I went to upgrade it, I saw that for some reason my phone had lost root access. It no longer goes into recovery. I haven't done anything that I know of, and really don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have ROM Manager installed? I would try re-flashing CM from there, and see if that does the trick.

You still have root, you just lost recovery, flash it a few times in rom manager.
