From Netfilx Help:

It typically points to a connection error. Follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue.

  • Test the Internet connection
Make sure your device is connected to the Internet.
    1. Open the Netflix app.
    2. Select the menu icon.
Note: Some Android devices have a menu button on the actual device, other devices have an icon you can select within the Netflix app.
    3. Select About.
    4. Within the Diagnostics section, select Network.
    5. Select Start Test.
If your connection test was unsuccessful, you'll want to contact the manufacturer for assistance connecting your device to the Internet.
If your connection test was successful, continue with the troubleshooting steps below.

  • Restart your device
Many streaming issues can be resolved by restarting your device.
    1. Power off your Android device by holding down the power button and confirm that you want to turn off your device.
    2. Press the power button again to power your Android device back on.
    3. Once your Android device finishes booting up, launch Netflix and attempt to watch your movie or TV show again.
  • Clear temporary Netflix data from your device
Reset the Netflix app by clearing the application data.
    1. From the Home screen on your device, navigate to Settings.
    2. Select General.
Note: If you don't have General as an option, continue to the next step.
    3. Select the Application Manager or Apps section.
    4. Under Downloaded, choose Netflix.
    5. Choose Clear data, then OK.
    6. After you've cleared the Netflix application data, launch Netflix and attempt to stream your movie or TV show again.
  • Uninstall and reinstall the Netflix app.
Make sure the issue isn't being caused by an outdated version of the Netflix app by removing it from your Android device and reinstalling it.
    1. Open the Play Store app.
    2. Search for Netflix.
    3. Once in the Netflix app store page, select Uninstall.
    4. Confirm by selecting OK.
    5. Once you have uninstalled the app, you can reinstall it to continue watching
