Help LOUD Camera Shutter sound

Hi there,

I was using my Xoom the other day to take a picture of my dog. When it snapped the picture, the shutter sound was so loud it scared the heck out of me and my dog.

I don't usually take pictures with my Xoom (I feel stupid holding it up like that) but this noise is a serious annoyance.


If it makes any difference it's a: Xoom WIFI, ICS 4.04 completely stock

Fixed! Turn down the system volume. I used Elixir 2, set it to 0%, and tadaa no loud camera click.

Anyone know how to turn this off? Its always louder then my volume settings and its annoying, thanks.
