Love the audio speakers on the M8 - what's comparable

Aloha to all. I've owned my M8 for almost two years on Verizon. I've stress tested this beast all this time and I've enjoyed owning it every minute. But now with the new cycle period of new phones being issued by Samsung and other companies I will be looking out to upgrade. I definitely want a phone that will give me great audio output like the M8. Of course I want performance, a good camera, and an OS interface that I can enjoy for the next couple years. The M8 is my second HTC phone (the Incredible was my first). I had Motorola but I couldn't wait to dump that. I don't want to go Apple so android is what I want to stick with. I'm not in a rush in upgrading but I want to know what is in store for me in the coming months so that I can decide what to get. Thanks for reading and I hope to have some great ideas on phones to choose from.

I don't think anything coming out now has the outstanding speaker output the HTC ONE M8 has. It's a great feature but it really never caught on, hence HTC getting closer and closer to bankruptcy. Sad but true. On the plus side, play through wired headphones is getting better. The LG V10 comes to mind but the speaker output is subpar. It's quite loud but not at all clear and crisp like the M8's stereo pair.

Wow, HTC going bankrupt? I really enjoyed their designs and the M8 has been great for me especially the external speakers. Is the Samsung Galaxy S7 speakers any good? I never had a Samsung and may want to give it a try if it's worth it.

Well maybe bankrupt was a bit over reacting but they haven't been doing that well financially. They do have some new products this year that may help them out though. Anyway back to the speakers...

I've been looking at some projected HTC ONE M10 specs on various sites and no where do they indicate that stereo speakers are part of the device. The Marshall London has gotten some good reviews for it's audio quality and has front facing stereo speakers but I can't think of any carriers that have it in the US. As a phone it's considered a mid-ranger even though it costs $600.
