Loving the extra processor power for gaming

I used to use a Samsung Galaxy S2 and one of my games (Star Defender 3) would always start lagging when I hit the first demi-boss level (Mission 1, level 5) now with the Note 3 I fly through that without any issues. Whis I was good enough to get to a real boss level though,

Careful what you wish for. I got to the first Boss and it kicked my butt!

Try the new Dead Trigger 2 that was released today... very pretty & silky smooth.

I still find it interesting that a phone like this really does show when apps are not well optimized for Android (here's looking at you Gameloft). Some games are destined to have some amount of lag know matter the hardware. I really enjoy the latest Asphalt game, for example, but the little cut-scenes prior to each race stutter on every single device I've tried it on (Note 3, HTC One, Nexus 10, Nexus 7). /shrug.

Still, really enjoying this device... it's been great so far!
