Help "Low Battery: Please Charge Battery" alert is driving me crazy!

Ok, I've had this phone since day one and I've ran the battery down almost every day and only had minimum "low battery" alerts....but tonight I am getting a warning flash on the screen every 10 seconds saying "Low Battery: Please Charge Battery". Seriously...every 10 seconds and it started at 15% battery left...so I have at least 30-60 minutes of life left. Any ideas how to shut this off????? Does your Epic do this? It makes me want to break the phone and kick a puppy.

Thanks

Good question man, I really hate the alert because even if I have 15% battery life left it wont let me do ANYTHING with my phone. WTF? If I want to drain the last of my battery watching videos then let me, sheesh.

BTW, I lol'd at the puppy thing

not here. i get the alert, yes, but not every 10 seconds. also, once i acknowledge the alert, i can use the phone as normal until it shuts itself off when there's no more juice.

sounds like you two have a 3rd party app checking your battery. if yes, check it's settings. if no settings, uninstall.

the phone will not let you use the camera after this warning comes up. it appears that you can only use it as a phone until it dies.

I have no problem using my phone, either. I was texting, browsing the internet and listening to music until mine died. Got the warning once and that was it.

No 3rd party apps here so you may be onto something.

Fwiw I do have battery minder pro....but have had it since I got the phone and never had this problem...but I did just do an update. I hate when I do an update and things work worse. It also makes me angry when the camera won't work less than 15%! Maybe I need therapy.
