Low heaphone jack volume?

I noticed a significant change in volume level when compared to my previous phone while having my phone connected through the headphone jack to my car's auxiliary input. Are these phones just overal more quiet or is there a setting to be adjusted? Thanks
 
I wonder what the deal is, then. I can run any app with any phone other than the S60 and it's significantly quieter and much lower quality. I have noticed that whenever I begin to play something, the first moment it starts to play, the volume level is louder then quiets back down.

Hardware issue?
 
MaxxAudio – Developed by Waves rather than Cat, MaxxAudio has been installed on earlier Cat models. This time the audio processing software has had an app built that suits the Cat branding perfectly and lets you choose between pre-set sound profiles for different media types or environmental settings.

I cant tell any difference, between the options or when its off or on.
It doesnt alter the sound at all
 
I played with the MaxxAudio thing. Still no luck. Doesn't matter what's hooked to the audio jack. Headphones, speaker, aux input in either of my vehicles. :/
