My LG-509 started giving me "Low phone memory" warnings last evening. I have about 80 pictures on it in Gallery. Although I've tried a bunch of times, I am unable to get Gallery to upload Picasa. I made the mistake of loading up Google+, it installs an "Instant Upload" functionality. I decided to uninstall Google+ but the uninstall left "Instant Upload" behind. Gallery's upload options point to "Instant Upload" every time which of course is probably why uploading goes to 54% on the first picture then dies because it can't find Google+ on the phone and winds up begging me to "Force Close". And, let me tell you, once pictures are in this "Instant Upload" facility, you can't get them to return to Gallery; you can't get them to delete, you can't get them to resume uploading either. You're cooked!
So, to my question: Are pictures in the phone's Gallery charged against the phone (not SD card) remaining memory space allocation? If so, then I've got to plug this in to the usb port and strip them off. I don't want to lose them. I'd really like to know how to purge that "Instant Upload" queue which currently has 72 pictures in it. But that's probably another question on another thread...
