low memory

hi,

I have HTC desire mobile,i am facing problem with low memory,i moved all pplictions to sd (which are possible to move),but others such as skype i cant move,and i am using only 2GB out of 4GB external memory,but i am not able to install any more applications,could you please advice??

Menu>settings>sd card & storage... what does it say at the bottom under 'application storage'
