Root Low Memory

My mother's prevail is starting to have a memory problem in which it becomes "full" after only installing only 2 apps, Facebook and WhatsUp. Can you guys help me fix this problem, also, I was thinking of installing CyanogenMod 7 on it, but I couldn't because she uses YouTube on it, and YouTube on HQ isn't working on CM7, and the fix isn't working neither, if I can get any assistance on this, I would be really grateful.

Try Ctmod then. It is working smooth. You also will be able to use data mode or ssm and have more space than you know what to do with. You can use Half-ass rom too, which is stock but with the extended memory.

It's all built in to the rom. After flashing ctmod go to settings and kouma something. It's been forever since I've had this beast. XD. After going in the kouma section you'll be asked to set your partition. I'm sorry this is all I remember.

Save anything on your card first to your pc.
Go settings then ctrom then sdparter.
You will slide the top fat to the left, then I would slide the next one down to
1126 or close as you can get it to that. The next one down to 520 or
as close.
Then go back to top and slide the fat all the way to the right. (you should
have a fat and 2 ext4 partitions.
Hit start partition process.
Then go into koumamod and select ssm.
When done, boot back into recovery and formatt sd/ext then reboot and
should be good to go. (It should say like 140-something mb free
and as you add apps it will slowly go down.

Now a 4 gb card is a little small, a 8 would be better.
Data mode would be the same but you would do a fat and only 1 ext4 and
that ext4 would be about the same at 1100 or so.
Then put back what you saved to pc on card.
