Root Low on space?

Hey,

Thanks for the straight-forward directions for rooting Desire. One problem though. I rooted the phone using these instructions but I still get the "Space low" message. I can't move apps to an sd card. What am I not getting here? I'm using Android 2.3.3 and did the recovery with RA.

Might be a stupid question but this was the only reason I decided to root the phone.

Moved to a new thread, as it was off-topic in the Revolutionary guide.

Rooting alone doesn't change anything, just gives you options to change things. It does make it easier to force apps to sd, but that isn't automatic. There are more powerful methods for gaining space though. Read the "root memory faq", which is linked in the All Things Root Guide sticky post, and this will tell you more about these options.

i got more space by using a custom hboot and a smaller rom
