Low on space

I've got a LG Optimus V. Periodically I get the message "Low on space."
I'm never sure how to free up space. I usually go through each app and press "Clear Data." Is there an easier way to identify what is using the space?

Here's where you need to go... LG Optimus V - Android Forums. You'll find some cool info and tips on your phone. As far as getting rid of that annoying notification...do this: Tap settings - Applications - downloaded or installed apps - follow steps to move to SD card.

This should clear up a lot of space for your device.
