Hi, i have the HTC Sensation Xl, phone is brand new but everyday it gets slower and slower. Now i only have 20-30 mb free left and its working slow whatever am i doing. I tried to uninstal unnecessary apps but its still same. What could be the problem?

Hello and welcome to Android Forums. :)

Have you tried clearing the cache? Go to manage apps and clear the cache on ones like facebook, youtube, internet, messages, etc. Then just restart your device and see if it speeds up. :)

Thank you for your welcome :)
I cleared cache for every single app. on my phone and went to see how much RAM do i have and i still had the same amount so i restarted the phone and now its ok, but before when this problem started to happen i restarted the phone and everything was ok for few hours but RAM was gradually falling again..

P.S. Im sorry for my bad english and complicating i hope u understand what i wrote. I restarted the phone but its still the same.

RAM is for running apps. ROM is for installed apps. The reason the available RAM decreases is because the way Android works is to keep as much RAM used to speed up the launch of regularly used apps, free ram is wasted ram. Regularly restart your phone to free up RAM or get the app called Fast Reboot

Damn, i would need to restart my phone every hour. It lags when i open menu, phone, gallery... What could be the problem?

You could have an app running in the background? Menu/setting/applications/running services to find whats hogging it

Apps that are running are: Settings, Location service HTC, Google services,Map,Facebook ( cant shut it down ),Touch Input

Settings > Applications > Manage > Maps > Uninstall updates

I cant find that option..i get only to app menu and there is no manage

I cant believe how slow my phone is when i am in the settings and i press home button it needs 5-6 seconds to load the home screen

Using a HTC Amaze, similar to the OP's Sensation. I never restart the phone or clear caches. The phone is as fast as ever.

I don't understand how uninstalling updates would speed up a phone, though it could free up a bit of space.

OP: Are you using very many widgets?

Im not using any widgets at all, but now its ok phone is working great and i have 230mb free ram, i think cache was the problem. Is there any button to clear cache from all apps at the same time? Which launcher should i use or is it better just to use HTC Sense ?

Backup all your app data with Titanium Backup and do a Factory Reset. Then restore it with Titanium Backup again.
