Help Low resolution pictures!

Hey guys! first time poster! Hoping to learn and help when i can!!!

But if its not too much trouble..id like some input in a problem i have!

I upgraded my galaxy to 2.3.4 gingerbread and i noticed the qualities of my pictures have gotten really grainy and low! I have set the resolution to the highest, but yet nothing seems to work

anybody have this problem? before the pictures were so nice....
