Help LOW ringer / speaker volume

Anyone else think the ringer volume is really low?? Speaker volume in general seems low. Tried a few ringers and they just seem low compared to Droid x and my tbolt. App to fix or just the phone?? Return it try another Gnex?

I noticed that too. My wife's Inc2 is super loud and cant believe the GNex is this quiet. Very annoying
 
Just found we are not alone. 2 page thread at androidcentral. Guess we can just report to Samsung or to Verizon? Not sure who to even complain to and try to get a fix or bug report lol
 
Yeah this issue was around before release day. Guess no one was looking at the bugs on the device.
 
I heard volume+ helps it.but im not sure.i have the free version and i dont hear any diffrence at +4.anyone else?

Yeah I noticed it was pretty low compared to my OG Droid, then again the phone is really slim so I don't know if it could really be that great and be so skinny..
 
Volume far lower than my Incredible. Used the tip here and added volume+, works on +4 nicely. But why should I have to add an app for correct volume? wtf
 
I swore i would never deal with a phone with crappy volume issues. As it is, this is a HUGE deal breaker for me. Have until the 15th of January to see if it can be dealt with. If not, it will go back :(:(

Hopefully the patch it by then. If not get a Razr, awesome device man.
 
Volume of device in quiet areas is fine. But get on the train or out in loud areas and you'll quickly find you can't turn it up loud enough.

It definitely needs a few more levels in volume.

I'll give Volume+ a try.
 
very quiet for me too, will try volume+ and edit this post

tried volume+, works a little bit better. Then I installed Zedge and just found a ringtone that was louder and now its great.

As of now, I'll never be able to watch a movie without ear phone as you simply can't hear it unless the room is dead silent.
 
Has anybody noticed their speakers blown out after the volume patch???


No? Oh wait, I'm posting from the future.................:)

Def noticed this as well when trying to set my alarm. Not really even close to loud enough to wake me up. Kind of sad.
