Help Low Sounds

Kamau

I am having volume problems with my phone after rooting. All of my sounds are low, including ring tones, music and alarms.
Is there a setting in the rom that affects volumes since Beats is included in this Midnight senseless rom?
Also, I do have volume + installed, but when I turn it off, the sounds only are lower, which leads me to believe it's not that.

I've used the original Midnight rom as my daily without any volume issues, however this phone does have a pretty low volume output to begin with. I've also had problems with the Volume + app when using 3rd party media players and have always un installed it.

What I'm saying is that the volumes are lower than usual, before the root, espcially system sounds. I was thinking that there was a setting in Midnight that I was missing.
Volume+ is a bit tricky, but has been a lot better after the latest update. One of the things I found when using it is to exit out using the home icon, instead of using the back button.

When I originally rooted my phone a few months ago, the first custom rom I installed was Midnight. I had the same low volume problem and couldn't figure it out. I tried asking in the Midnight rom thread but didn't get much of a response. I switched over to Harmonia and haven't had that problem since. I can't say for certain that it is the Midnight rom that is the problem, but at least for me, all evidence points that way. Maybe try switching to a different rom just to test out if you experience the same issue? You could always switch back to Midnight if wanted to.
