low storage

[Android Question]

I just recently bought a android ZTE 2.3.5. I have notifications come up when I need updates. I was able to update 2 of 10 then it said "Low internal storage". mind you, I have updated 3 times in the past 3 weeks I have had the phone. The only thing in internal storage is what came on the phone. I don't want to delete anything but I cant use some apps unless its updated. Also, I can send text messages but most people will not receive them even if they are right next to me. I got that to work yesterday and now today again, no one can receive texts from me. Im not sure how to fix this so PLEASE HELP!! Someone told me to move apps to my SD card, but the apps that were already on the phone I am unable to transfer to my SD card.

Hi, the problem is that when you move apps to SD not all of it is moved.. your internal memory fills up with the parts which are not moved plus cached data which the phone Saves to allow it to run apps quicker.

If you can, install an app called History Eraser and use it to clear the caches of all your installed apps.. You can also do this one app at a time in
menu
settings
manage applications


That should help.. If you have all your apps saving their data to SD you don't have many other options. You could root the tablet but that is probably not straightforward.
