Root Low volume output cromi-x

I've been having low volume output on bluetooth, wired headphones and overall speaker since installing cromi-x on my transformer infinity. I've read a bunch of forums suggesting that this is a software problem related to android 4.2.
Does anyone know if any of the apps that are supposed to help (volume+, speakervolume etc) work with cromi-x?

Has this issue been addressed in the lastest iteration of cromi?

cromi-x has option for dapper during install, I opted for the one that claimed it was really loud and it still is too low
 
Be careful of "really loud". There's a guy in the Nexus 7 forum who used his tab for the alarm to wake his wife (who must be nearly deaf :D) and blew out his speaker.
