Help low volume

Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the volume on the tab 10.1 its really low in the video player as well as programs such as upstream. Its so quiet I can't hear if there is any background nnoise. This is a problem with both the built in speakers and headphones. Its weird because I have a galaxys which has really loud volume that I've never had trouble with,I don't know why the tab should be any different.

I have not experienced that. Have you tried some other headphones to make sure yours are not the problem?

My headphones work great but when I remove them no sond can be heard. What gives?

I know this sounds dumb but I know on iPhones and iPads when you put in headphones the volume changes due to the phone/tablet recognizing that the headphones are in and go back to a previous set volume. So possibly when you have headphones in it puts the volume up and when you take them out the volume is at zero. So possibly just try and turn the volume up?

Exactly what Cody said. Volume is changed when on headphones so that you do not get deaf.

At the risk of asking the obvious, have you checked the 'Media' setting in Settings > Sound > Volume?
