Low volume

Any of you got any tips on how to make the volume louder? I've noticed in comparison to my LG Spirit the music player, notifications and ringtones are all pretty low on the G2.

First i would check the volume through the system menu. Sometimes for me the volume levels for each do not stay the same. If that does not work, you could try downloading a volume booster from the play store, they work pretty well. Some require root but i'm sure there are ones that don't.

I've tried a couple of the ones from the play store with no luck, there's a zip file you can run through abd that someone on xda posted, but it only says it works up until the 4.2, hoping someone can confirm it works with 4.4

Try downloading a music player like MixZing. It has a built-in equalizer that should work.

If not that, try the download Equalizer.

I've tried mixzing (used to be my fav player back on 2.2 lol) and eq with no luck.

I did just try that zip file (no need to run adb, just need root permissions a root access file explorer) works like a charm! Now I can hear my ringtones in my pocket woohoo!

Here's the link I used, it works like a charm even with the 4.4.2 update, must be rooted.
