Lowest Victory Price

Newbie
Just thought I would share this with people, was going to order my victory on the virgin store before I checked out neweggs mobile store. They are the cheapest price for virgins entire lineup, with next day shipping.

Galaxy Victory $189 Shipped

I think this only applies to U.S. based customers, not entirely sure.

This is going to be my next phone, so I have been lurking in the forum.
Just though you should know that you can currently get this phone for $187.49 with free shipping from the Virgin Mobile site.

I've seen it for $175 but don't know how much shipping was.

I think it was originally 30% off, and now it's only 25% off from Virgin Mobile.
I ordered the Victory Thursday morning and got it Friday via FedEx!
The only reason I got it was that I had an over-the-limit carryover balance and was afraid VM would take it away.

I haven't activated it for now but so far I'm pretty impressed. Only thing I don't like so far is that the volume is a little weak and the speaker sounds worse than I'd expect.

If you already have a Virgin account you can purchase 2 $120 top up cards on eBay for $64 each, so for $128 you can buy the phone on from VM on sale for $188 with your cash balance and have enough left over to activate it on the $35 or $45 plan and still have few $$ left over.

Wow, great idea.

I recently cancelled my tmobile account and ported my number to google until I get a new cell phone. Leaning towards Virgin, so my question (and I apologize for millering the thread) if I were to buy a $10 virgin mobile phone and activate a $20 a month plan, could I immediately buy two $120 top up cards and upgrade my phone and plan with them?

Is there a limit on the amount of these you can buy? Can I do this every month and effectively cut my costs in half?

Just ordered the phone earlier today. Plenty of excitement!

Question: I've got a confirmation email about the purchase with the order key number and whatnot. However, when I try to look up the order on my account the session times out both when hitting the link on the home page and also within the account management page. Is this normal? Will Virgin send me another email when it's shipped or other details such as arrival date?

I received a Purchase Confirmation email and then a Shipping Confirmation in the evening with a FedEx tracking number. Got the phone the next day. :D

If you know someone who has a VM account you could top off their account in an amount close to what you want to purchase and they could purchase the phone for you and you can go from there, but in the case where you don't know of anyone, yes you could purchase a paylo phone and activate it and then just top off the account. You can get the for at Radio shack for 4.99 until 06/08/13.
You should top up in stages because in some instances it can throw up a red flag, but mainly if you are buying multiple phones, etc.

I do believe there is a limit on how much $$ you can top off in a single day and or how many pins you can add in a single day. One thing with the discount cards is that they are here today and in some cases gone tomorrow, so you can't base your savings on these every single month. I topped up my sons account to cover him for 5 months on the BYT 35 plan for about 19 a month.
Note: VM "You may Top-Up in any amount between $10 and $120. The maximum amount you may Top-Up in a single day is $150, and the maximum cash balance allowed in an account at one time is $400. The value of any Top-Up amount or card cannot be applied to any other wireless service"

I would also like to apologize, it was not my intention to pollute the thread as my initial comment was just an alternative when buying, especially from VM.

This may be obvious, but I thought I would throw it out there. If you are not using the VM version of this phone, then eBay has some potentially good buys on the Sprint Version, of course you have to be patient in the bidding process, but there are some decent buy it now prices as well. Just as an example, I got two NIB Sprint Victories for $125 ea. to my door and have since activated them both with Ting.

Thank you! I got the shipping confirmation last night and it's already out for delivery. I guess there is no reason to pay for expedited shipping if the "3-5 day" shipping gets to your house the next day, unless expedited means beaming the shipment to your front door.

I'm not sure if the phone would end up being 149.99 with the trade in of a working phone. I've asked 2 diff employees and got 2 diff answers. If it is 149.99 I believe it's a good price for this device

I went into radio shack today and picked up the victory for 149.99(139 with 10$ coupon). I traded in a 5$ flip phone and received 50$ towards the victory!!!
