Flashed v2.6 last night and I'm getting a fc on android.process.media. Not a clue what that is. Usually pops up while I'm in the middle of texting.

Also, I'm getting a fc on settings when I try to access it to change my ringer.

Last but not least (not that big of an issue really) gmail isn't giving me notifications of new emails.

Any and all help Will be appreciated

Edit: perhaps I needed to install Gapps?

I can't help, but I can vouch that I had the same ones with LTB 2.6 and uninstalled it after a short time. Have you written the developers and asked them about your problems?

Also, something that may work for Gmail is updating it through the market. There was a new version released not long ago and if you don't have the updated one, that may be the problem.

Gapps is included. Have you updated gmail from the market? Also if you restored system data with titanium it causes issues

No I don't believe I updated it but prior to the flash, i had no issues. I have not talked to the devs about it. I was searching the xda forum for more info before I went to them.

I did use titanium to backup. I have not made a backup of this yet so would it be adviseable to recover to my previous rom and reflash? Or is there a simpler fix?

When you wiped did you wipe system before the flash, along with cache and dalvik cache? Then when you restored apps with titanium did you restore just the user apps or did you restore system data too?

Yes I wiped system before cache and dalvik. And yes I restored system data when I backed up. Bad??

And come to think of it, I had the same gmail issue when I was playing around with launcher pro when I had the Evo.

Yeah you shouldn't restore system data it will cause issues if you do. I would suggest you reflash the rom after another wipe, just restore user apps with data and no system data. That should resolve the force close issues. That goes for all roms not just LTB

just want to make sure were all on the same page. you need to be doing a "wipe data/factory reset" along with cache and dalvik cache. not sure if thats what you guys are refering to as "system"

if youre refering to "format /system",i personally have never done that. im sure it doesnt hurt, and may have some benefits, but make sure youre also wiping data along with the caches. :)

Yes I was referring to the factory reset option. I've used the format system option but never noticed any difference
