Root LTE Calls not working?

I noticed recently that whenever I make a call my service switches to just 4G. (sometimes people cant even hear me correctly)
right after hanging up it switches back to 4G LTE.

I have no idea if its because i'm on butternoob, or i did something else. However, i am wondering if there's anyway to fix this?

all roms have done that for me. even stock. it switches to another tower for calling.

If i go back to stock will it return to normal?

it will be the same. you cannot make calls on the LTE network.

Didn't someone say the latest update for the MetroPCS version was for VoLTE?
