I was reading in the Skyrocket thread that At&t LTE is now on in Los Angeles and Orange County. Is this true?

I heard from a AT&T store representative that LTE has already been here in LA and OC for a while now, but they're still locked and that they plan to unlock it/put it to use starting mid-January 2012.
