Am I missing something? What's fun about it?

I've yet to battle anything other than NPCs, and I'm only being shown the Initial Outbreak levels. Since the levels are rotated (which, for some reason, they feel the need to tell you every time you log in) I haven't been able to perform any uncompleted tasks in almost two days.

It just doesn't seem like the game was finished before it was put out.
