M8 having issues installing apps after reset....

I had to reset my phone because my phone would not unlock with the PIN and I knew what the PIN was.

After resetting, I'm unable to install some apps now . Amazon Kindle says it has issues. Microsoft Word AND Excel not only will not install, but don't even show up in the play store. I use Excel DAILY in my work functions, and it is NOT the same as Google Sheets. I must have Excel.

Anyone have any ideas how to get it back on there???

Apps won't display if the play store doesn't think it's compatible. Are you sure the reset has you fully logged back in? Open the play store on a PC and see what's listed there for the account. And then try to push excel to your phone from the store.

I let the phone go for about two hours. In that time, it updated everything that was on the phone. I then tried to "force" from a PC, and no dice. It says there that both Excel and Word are incompatible with my device.

How can I find out why it's incompatible?, and if there's some other way that I can force it in there???

This at least got Excel installed, and I'm working on installing Word now. I don't understand why this is so darn difficult, and why it thinks that it's incompatible. ARGHHH....
