Accessories M9 Cases & Accessories

HTC haven't said anything about integration with their new wearable, but I'm hoping that at least the GPS receivers can be linked to improve location accuracy.

And presumably a sok app will be released soon so that you can use your M9 to find you lost sok? ;)
 
My husbands Defender came today. He likes it and said it's similar to the one for the M8 except when releasing from the holster it's different. I was letting him use this $15 dollar soft shell case I got from Best Buy yesterday just so he could activate his phone and then the Defender came today. My cheap wallet case from Amazon for 10 bucks doesn't protect the whole good at all but it's good to use as a stand. to watch videos.

From best I can tell,this has an open-back design,yet,the frame is raised enough to prevent scratching the camera lens if placed back-down on a flat surface.
This & the the transparent skin I ordered will be all the protection I want for most occasions.
The others I ordered,well,I'll see if I can send 'em back for a refund.
Several sellers on e-Bay & AMAZON.
ETA 10-25 days.
 
I have to order my dot view case off shop Android by tomorrow for 20% off. Still deciding on color but d you think it will light up and show up better on the black? I wanted this burgundy but don't see it and I like the Pink and their is an aqua blue but it's the one with the clear back which is more than the solid ones. I need to decide has anyone had one before on their M8. I know thier supposed to be better this year than last. I never got one last year.

Thanks, I saw them there also but I think shop android was cheaper with 20 off. I am just wondering if it'll light up better on the black. Oh wow shop android says shipping now on the ones I just saw with the clear back and the solid ones say the same thing shipping now it's a bit more but I want it now. Lol Actually the clear banks are cheaper at fun mobile by ten dollars and in stock. I'm getting a pink one I think the solid back is red no pink at fun mobile. It looks pink I'm getting one they have free shipping.

Was gonna use the discount on the HTC RAPID CHARGE 2.0,but,I could get a better deal eslewhere,even w/the discount applied,so,I bit the bullet & ordered the HTC DOT VIEW ICE (Onyx Black) instead:

Per the description on HTC's website,it seems this case lacks the functionality of the other non-clear back Dot View Cases for the M9.

I reached out to the same individual who offered the discount to us for some clarification.
(Note the M8 pictured above,as listed w/M9 accessories on HTC's site,apparently,just a case of cut & paste gone south).

I'm fairly confident all M9 DotView Cases share the same functionality & ordered the Ice Onyx Black Case w/2-day shipping & will post info regarding such upon delivery,or,sooner,should I hear back from HTC in the meantime.

Just heard back from HTC:
The DOT VIEW & DOT VIEW ICE share the exact same functionality,able to accept calls/etc... with the case closed.

Can someone tell me what is this HTC discount your talking about? I've been out of town and haven't ordered my Dot View yet. Shop Android is 20 off but not shipping yet and Mobil Fun is free shipping and they have in stock. Does HTC have in stock now? Oh their listed now but say out of stock. Best Buy had a Black Ice one it was 50 bucks. I think I want solid color but Shop Android has the pink and Mobil fun says red and I can't tell if it's really red or pink. HTC doesn't show a red one on their site. I still think black will show better lighting up what do you guys think? I'm leaning towards Mobil Fun cause it says shipping now. Their also cheaper on the Dot View Ice one buy about 10 bucks and Shop Android their 20% is over tonight I think I just want to make sure I'm getting the right case it says for the M9 I am trying to post the red and pink I guess they are different. At first I thought they both looked pink which is what I wanted. I wonder how long Shop Android will take before they get theirs in. I may just do that one that says red or do black if it lights up better. I never had one of these for my m8 so I'm not sure about them.

Just guessing,but,those of us who ordered direct from HTC (late March) & opted for the Unlocked or Developer Editions had a very slight delay in processing/shipping of our devices.
An exact example was yours truly:
I got an order confirmation on 3/28/15,& about two hours later,I received an e-mail stating there would be a possible delay,w/shipments leaving HTC NLT 4/3/15.
In an e-mail sent about a day or two later,on 3/30/15 or thereabouts,another e-mail was sent w/an apology for the delay,along w/a 25% discount code for one accessory,purchased direct from HTC.
 
Oh Thanks! I was just curious but all their dot views say out of stock anyways Shop Android said pre order not in stock and then Mobile fun has free shipping well it took of -$299 and says is delivered in 15 days. Crazy! I'll just wait till the 10th and see what the stores have.

I'm not a huge fan of bumper cases, but I really like that one.

Nice feel w/the matte finish.Very low profile/lightweight,edges are raised just enough for protection for camera lens & display.
If it had the HTC logo,it'd look like standard equipment,the fit & finish are that good.
The fit might be too good,only if you swap cases often:
Even w/the relief cuts @ the corners,this case is extremely difficult to remove.
Not a matter of muscle,but,finesse.
If you have to remove the case often,I'd bet you will end up damaging/dropping the phone sooner rather than later.
That's my only knock on an otherise excellent case.
I'l only use it on occasion,gonna stick w/a trusty,if not meh,matte black TPU Case until the NILLKIN Bumper arrives:

For those looking for an AC charger and car charger that have Qualcomm's Quickcharge 2.0 technology

Amazon-Anker AC charger with Qualcomm QC 2.0
Amazon -Incipio car charger with Qualcomm QC 2.0

Each of these is under $20, which is reasonable.



Both are on Qualcomm's official vendor list, and both of these devices perform as advertised. The Car charger puts out 1.75A - This is normal for QC car chargers.

I have used them the last several days and have had positive results.
 
I love mine it was $18.99 by Tynergy from Amazon. It charges so fast. I have to help my my co-worker buy one he just got this phone and I was wondering if their was a different one to get but mine works great. Not sure if it's on the list. I also saw the car charger one too. But yeah I plug mine in at work for a little bit and I'm good for the whole shift. The Anker one looks like mine. Mine didn't come with a cable though I am using an HTC with it. This Anker one does look just like mine and it comes with a cable so I'm gonna tell my co-worker to get it. Does it matter what cable you use? I like using my HTC cables but mine didn't come with one this one I see does which is better and about the same price I paid for mine. Mine says it comes with a data cable so maybe it did and I just don't remember.

I just found a pink Dot View that I have been trying to decide whether to get or not on Amnazon. It says it's $25 bucks and it comes from Accessory Net and is in stock. I hope it's really for the M9 but that's a good price. And says by HTC. Than I found others what's your take on a generic one not made by HTC?

1st item is an HTC accessory,not a bad price for the genuine article.

The 2nd item definitely is not.

Not sure if the DOT VIEW app would work/sync with the non-HTC CASE,that's where I'd start..........
 
I ordered the pink Dot View today decided to try it and for $25 bucks I thought that was a decent price. Hope I like it.
