so there is this person in my job that seems to have their iphone set to join my wifi whenever i turn it on. i cannot find a way to kick them off. access controls dosent give me any options and long pressing the ip dosent do anything... i dont like the person and i dont want them using my tether....

anyone know how to remedy this problem?

Thank you!! tried it and my ipod came up green and the iphoe came up red and said unauthorized. that mean its not giving signal to it then??

yeah, that's pretty much it. Makes it so ONLY devices you specify (via mac address or device name) can use your wifi hotspot.

Ok, so I set Access-Control to ENABLED, and below it is: Connected/Authorized Clients:

How do I add my notebook as an authorized client? At the present time, my notebook is not with me. If it was here, would it show up on a list and I could then authorize it from my phone?

Yep. You have to see the device you want to allow or disallow access to before you can assign it an allow or disa
Llow status, unless you set your access controls to deny anything that isn't one of your devices.
