MAC Address totally changed

[Android Question]

I noticed on my IP Scanner this eve that the MAC Address for my Samsung Galaxy Ace has completely changed.

I have deleted it from the list, and manually added it again using the MAC Address in the settings, which still remains the same. It has been added to the list again but is still showing a completely different MAC Address which is very disconcerting.

Has my Android been hijacked?

If you have noticed nothing else odd, there is probably nothing to worry about. Install and run an anti malware such as CM Security from playstore if you are worried.
