Root MAC Address Unavailable fix?

Can anyone tell me why my Wi-Fi MAC address says Unavailable and my 4G MAC address says Unavailable?

Are they turned on or off? I believe if you have wifi or 4g turned off they show up saying unavailable. And when they are turned on do they work?

I just tested and my 4G MAC addy was unavailable. I turned 4G on and the MAC addy showed up. Interestingly, I had WiFi on and could see the addy, but when I turned it off the addy was still visible.

^ What's the interesting part? Your wifi MAC will never change.

The interesting part is that the OP's MAC address is not displayed. It's always there for me.

I know it doesn't change. This isn't about whether it changes or not. When I boot up the phone but don't turn on WiFi it says the MAC address is unavailble. Once I turn on WiFi the addy shows up but it doesn't become unavailable again when I turn WiFi off. The 4G addy's available state changes as I toggle 4G off/on but WiFi does not.

That's the interesting part to me, but perhaps I am easily interested.
