Help MAC and Transform

We have tried over 10 different ways to properly root our Transform using our Mac. Does anyone know the best possible way, that wont cost us any money, to root our Transform using our Mac? We have tried Windows methods that claim to work for Mac as well, however they don't. Is there anyone out there with a Mac who has rooted their transform using their Mac??? Please help!

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. You see this is why I'm a big stickler on multiple OSes. I have Windows 7 and four versions of linux on my laptop.....

Anyways, there are some one click root methods out that is used entirely from your phone. (although I'm not positive that these will work on Froyo quite yet)
However, even if they do work, I don't think you would be able to get custom recovery quite yet which gets rid of flashing kernels and ROMs, etc...
I don't have all the information though, because I'm not a mac user (yet).
I know there are linux programs that can be used to run Windows programs, such as Wine, but I don't know much about Mac.
If you really can't find anything, try and get on a PC at the library or an internet cafe or something.
