is android friendly with mac ox 10.6? i recently purchased a mac and was wondering, if adb commands are able to work

Sure. OSX is after all Unix. Plug in your droid, open a terminal window and type adb devices. If the droid is listed, then you'll have no problem.

I have a mac with OS X and I have had no compatibility problems for over a year. I can easily mount the phone as a Hard Drive, run Unix commands from terminal, and use developer tools.

If you don't plan on doing all of those, just realize if I can do that with no problems you should be in the clear!

what is unix commands? if thats adb just call me a **** haha. i know them as adb commands
