(Mac related) Mountain Lion

I know there are a few Mac users here. I can't be the only one :) Just wondering if any of you have downloaded Mountain Lion yet. If so, what do you think of it?

One big thing thats got me interested is Airplay mirroring. 20 bucks is a heck of a lot less then the 30-50 dollar display port to HDMI connector and a long HDMI cable. So, that may be worth the price right there. If my Apple TV will work with it. Its been jailbroken and I have not used it since. LOL.

Downloading now...

Did not take too long to download and get set up. Its going to take a bit to get used to. Airplay mirror looks pretty cool! Still have to try like a DVD or something, but I have a feeling network congestion may cause a few snags here and there.

AirPlay is neat, but for much more than slideshows you might be better off having the Mac and ATV on a wired network. I have mine on the 5 gHz radio on my router, with the media source (my Windows box) plugged in on a Gb port and I get a little stuttering on HD video, but it's watchable.

I wish I could use AirPlay to make my TV a second display instead.

Mountain Lion user here on a MacBook Pro 15" i7 Intel quad core. I'm not seeing a real need to have upgraded from Lion. And if you use The Gimp for graphics, the upgrade breaks the functionality because Mountain Lion deletes the X11 Quartz driver needed by The Gimp. Other than that the upgrade was pretty painless although you need a lot of bandwidth to download the 4 gig image. And if you want to save that image say to do a clean install you can, google how to do it. I have noticed an increase in Flash plugin
crashes using Chrome after upgrading but only on ABC news site. Cool thing Airplay Mirroring. I don't have an Apple TV though. So I bought the Thunderbolt to HDMI adaptor. Works very well as this MacBook has a high end PCIe video adaptor for external display.

m.lion was not that good deal , ( i think ;) ) , but no regrets !!
in my country we do not get a Apple TV :p hence mirroring things are boom !

Also ,
Just the launchpad app is well designed in 10.8( any one can agree , it is crap on 10.7)

And the worst part ,
I have MBP Early 2011 & I did find a significance Battery problem on 10.8 :p
+ they have removed X11 :o
