Mad about Mega

Hello Everyone!

This is my second post.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Mega phone, virtually brand new, my husband got it for me as an upgrade, and I love it. My phone is my lifeline -no kidding, I have a heart a serious condition and may need to call for help at a moments notice. Also, I live on SSI, and so have very little income. If I don't have a reliable phone with me at all times, I could die. So I take my phone seriously.

I joined this forum because I had a disaster yesterday and I seriously need help. I did put up a post asking for help right after the incident in the Support Water Damage section yesterday. It's titled: Disaster struck 15 minutes ago! There I explain what happened and what I did afterward.

You say that this area is not for support, so I am hoping that someone will see this and look for my other post and possibly help me.

Sorry to hear about your phone! Looks like unforgiven beat me too it! Keeping it in rice a couple of days is going to be your best bet! I hope that works for you! Keep us updated! If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Besides rice, I've heard of using silicon packets in shoe boxes that absorb moisture. But good luck, I lost a new phone in the same manner with my teenager and it didn't survive, but my other friends have.
