Magazine Capture

I've searched this forum and the Internet and can't find the answer to this question -- is there any way to capture a page or pages from a magazine? Sometimes with hard copy magazines I will tear out an article to save. I would actually prefer to save electronic copies of articles, rather than hard copies, but I can't figure out how to do it on the Nexus 7.

Have you tried doing a screenshot (volume down plus power button at the same time) when you are on the page you want to save?

Can't seem to grab text from a book either ... maybe a copyrite thing ... Amazon kindle let's me do it though .... on my kindles

Keyboard still misses keys like crazy!
