Magbook 10.1

I have a new magbook 10.1 and Android program is very unfamiliar to me. I would like to have a basic manual to guide me. I figured out many things for myself. However, when I photoed myself the photo stayed on the screen and is absolutely stuck there. I cannot move the cursor and I cannot shut the magbook when pressing the button that opens/shuts the magbook. How do I "disconnect", do I wait for the battery to run down?
