My friend and me have just released our 1st Android game.
That's why we are itchy to show off it asap! ;)

Our Magic Yum-Yum is written using Corona SDK. Here come some facts.

Ansca Mobile's cross-platform mobile app development tool

900+ studious use Corona SDK.

Over 2011, Corona SDK based apps has been downloaded for 35,000,000+ times.

As for your queston, reading the phone state is a property of Corona SDK; it is not our initiative.

It's about android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATEREAD_PHONE_STATE and is beyond our control.

To have more experience, you may wish to register at

Corona: The fastest and easiest way to create cross-platform mobile apps,

compile a sample application and see what happens. Also you may wish contacting the Ansca, Inc about why they do this stuff.
