Help Magnetic Sensor Calibration

Big Gav

Hi All,
Just solved this problem - for me anyway.
My phone cover has a magnetic clasp. This stops you being able to calibrate the magnetic sensor!
Calibrate it without the leather case. It works. Cut off the magnet, and replace it with velcro if necessary.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums Big Gav :)

Magnetic cases have been a problem with the magnetic phone sensor for as long as I can remember. They can really throw GPS out. I remember, on the Galaxy S2, Samsung actually had a magnetic clasp on one of their cases that caused all sorts of Google Maps problems.
