Help Magnetic sleeve issues

I've read some of the threads about how the magnetic sleeves can cause issues but I can't find anything that says how to solve the issue besides get a new sleeve.

I got a birthday present which is a gorgeous, pricey leather sleeve for my phone. I love it and don't want to have to get rid of it.

Are there any suggestions on how to solve this? It's a magnetic clasp that closes it. First the phone said it was in the car dock and now it keeps saying it's connecting to a multimedia station.

Is there any way around this besides a new sleeve?

Just kidding. I had the same issue when I had the OG Droid. It has magnetic sensors in different places that tell it when it is in certain docks, so you will probably need to replace the sleeve, or, if it is really nice, tuck it away until you get a new device. Provided it will fit another device.

PS. I feel your pain, I always preferred the magnetic clip type leather cases.

I've actually had the phone for over a year lol! I just haven't ever used a sleeve before.
