Magnets in flip cases and stylus pen

Hey I'm browsing for a new case and overheard someone saying magnets make the stylus pen give blind spots -i.e. not working properly anymore.

can someone confirm this?

I was looking for a flip cover case where a soft back cover can be magnetically enclosed in the book case.
but want to make sure this will not give issues

don't have your phone, but i have been with the note series up until the note 10+ and have used the s-pen with flip cases or magnetic kickstand built into the case with no issues. so unless the new s-pen is more sensitive, i think you should be fine.

Thanks! I guess it depends on which case then though. I just heard from someone that makes cases on Etsy that he stopped making cases with magnets just because of this reason. I don't think it's the pen that has issues from what I heard its the screen that doesn't like magnets.

I'm hoping someone with the s22 ultra has experience with cases like this.

well on my z fold 3........the sides of the hinge protection on my case are magnetic and i have no issues with both screens......but yes magnets near any phone screen will mess the screen up.

i have the s22 ultra 1tb. i dont use a case like yours but maganets will affect it. id go a different route and use a case without magnets. if you feel you must use this type of case, purchase form a vendor who as an easy returns process.

anyone - Please send a reply to this thread if you find a leather case which is similar in use but doesn't use magnets

You "may" me OK if the case has a magnet provided the magnet in in the cover flap and you leave it open like a book. What I mean is that you don't fold the flap all the way around so the magnet is in contact with the back of the phone.
