Help Mail app puts it all in one folder

So I have it pulling in my mail using the HTC mail app, but why does it put everything in one folder? I've got folders in Hotmail for forum subscription alerts (for a few places) that I don't want filling up my main screen but the phone seems to ignore that and puts it all together. The same with my Yahoo mail.

Is the solution just go to the dedicated mail app from hotmail / yahoo?

There are MANY mail apps in the Google play store. I find Road Sync to be very good. Try out a few different ones, it's time consuming, but you will find one you like.

I had a similar problem when I used the 'yahoo' option to add my account. I deleted that and using the pop/imap option to add it and all my folders show up.

Worth a try on the hotmail account. You just need server settings
