Help Mail Application Bug????

Hi, I'm trying to setup a new email account and think there may be a bug.

I'm trying to setup a gmail.com account but I want to set the smtp settings to use my pobox.com account so that I receive email through gmail and send through pobox.

I use the wizard which you are presented with when you choose New Account. I choose gmail which fills in the pop settings for you but on the smtp screen I change to my pobox.com settings and continue through successfully.

The problem is when I go back into the smtp settings for that account, the username and password has defaulted back to that for the gmail account which obviously wont work on pobox.com!!

Is this a known bug? Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a fix?

Thanks

I'm surprised you're able to use the Google SMTP server as most networks only let you use their own SMTP server, e.g. smtp.t-email.co.uk. A quick google should get you the name of the SMTP server and the port it uses.
