Mail Widget

There are a few posts about this but zero answers. Maybe it just doesn't exist?

I got sick of Sense rebooting all of the time so went with Apex Launcher. However the one thing that I can't seem to find to make my droid how I want it (after all isn't that the point of android?) is an email Widget. I have 2 yahoo mail addresses that showed up in my Sense widget and it was wonderful. Now I can't seem to find any Email widgets out there.

Anyone know if I'm missing a good one?

Seem to remember there was an issue with google closing the API for gmail. Other emails should be ok, so you should be able to get an email widget for those. I will do a bit of digging and see what i can find.

I wanted to check this as well, as I'm probably going to do a tour of launchers soon.
Best I've seen is one called K-9. There is a separate app for the widget - maillist widget for k9. On app so no links.
It picked up my google account no problem, but couldn't get my throwaway hotmail. Apparently this is a particular problem with some types of hotmail account. Impressed that it has gmail though. It does say that it can do yahoo, but don't have account to test.
Widget is plain, serviceable and scrollable. Seems perfectly useable. Option to switch off the delete button.
Both apps have mixed reviews, but worked fine for me on this short test.

K9 is absolutely perfect. Customizable, simple and just works. If you're ever by the twin cities I'll make you cookies.
