mailboxes

I am new to Android. Is there any way to incorporate a contact list into the mailbox so that the send to function can be done without having to type in each addressee ?
Thanks,
Dave
I have an ASUS 302c with jellybean 4.2

I'm not familiar with your particular phone. But, for mine there is a field to add an email address in the contact's information along with their phone numbers. So, for instance, when I'm in my wife's contact information I have her phone numbers and I have her email address. So, when I start a new email I just type her name and it populates her email address.

Is this what you are looking for?

Sorry, I'm referring to my android tablet.

My nexus 7 tablet works this same way.
