Android Question

Hi,
I would like to ask you if there is any maintenance done/promised by Google on the different OS Android versions ? Moreover, do you know if there is any after sales service provided by google and for how long ?
I checked on the official web site but didn't succeed in finding the information.
Thanks in advance for your help.
