Make a folder of pics Read-Only

[Amsterdam John]

I am making a Installation at a local community centre, We bought 10 cheap 7inch tablets and have loaded them up with pictures, using quick pics the kids can swipe through and zoom in. and sure lock, stops them going back out of the program,

but quick pics has a delete photo button, and one of the kids is bound to find it,

How do I make the folder read only.

Any help is much appreciated

I’m told that you can rename each file by putting a period “.” as the first character, and then it’s read-only. Try it on one and see.
