"Make Call" - Mobile or Internet?

I moved your thread to the Android Lounge here, thinking that this could apply to different devices and perhaps not really specific to yours.
I'm not sure of the answer, but if I had to make a guess, do you have google voice set up as an option to make phone calls?
Once you choose "make an ordinary call" is there an option to "select as default" in that message pop up?

Snap!!

All I want to do is make a phone call but when I try I get a pop up box titled “Make Call” followed by two choices. “Mobile phone call” or “Internet call”.


If anyone has a solution please make it easy (like step by step). I am 84 years old and started life with Edison!

Sorry not only newbi but also half asleep. It's a Galaxy s3 on Virgin. PAYG.
P.S. I cannot see how to start a thread, so just tacked my mesage on to this one!!

No worries - I spun out your posts into its own thread here in the S3 forum so that (hopefully) some other S3 users will be able to help out.

I unfortunately have never used an S3, so I can't really provide any other assistance.

Many thanks. That's it. For the benefit of others:
Go to settings>>call settings, at the end of the page, change the internet call settings to only for internet calls.
Job done.
