Make my Win7 PC a Wifi Player

When I am playing music on my HTC Droid DNA (Android 4.1) I can click the menu button and hit "select player" and select from bluetooth devices and my AV receiver (which has this wifi functionality built in).

I am wondering how to get my Windows 7 PC onto that list of wi-fi players. It's in a different part of the house and has nice speakers, so it would be nice to be able to wirelessly stream music from my phone to it (it does not have a bluetooth connection / my phone wont always be within bluetooth range)

Are there windows apps which support this functionality?

Thanks,

I think i would have to be able to see my screen to perform a lot of the functions - like starting itunes, selecting a playlist, etc..?

I want to me able to use my phone's music player and just tell it to play through my PC's speakers - the way I can tell Windows Media Player to play through my Yamaha AV Receiver... Or my Phone to play through the receiver.
