You will need a 32 gb micro SD card and cache booster pro download from market and set cache to 20000 to 25000 have seen a rediculous amount of improvement thanks to this root app :)

Cant I use my internal SD? or a smaller external SDHC card?

I installed the app.But it only shows my current cache size and asks for a new one. It said 128 so I put 1000 and set it to apply on boot

Whats the safest size I can set it to? It doesnt give me any range option or even tell me where its putting the cache

A larger one makes sense, as the cache uses up quite a bit of memory. I tried this, but once I debloated my Event, I didn't notice much difference, so I took off cache booster. Besides, it's not only memory that needs to be freed, it's also the CPU load that needs to be eased. As it is, many programs use internal storage as cache. That's been the case since ICS was released.

ICS shouldn't even be on this phone to begin with, as it takes up half the available memory by itself. Imagine if someone had a custom ROM for this phone... but Kyocera will most likely never unlock the bootloader for their phones. :(
