Making Android work as ipod through usb?

I have Samsung Moment, gonna upgrade soon. I want to listen to MOG downloaded songs in my car by USB. Blue tooth quality not all that. My car stereo works with ipod through USB. Can I make Android work USB or do I buy ipod touch, run MOG ....done?

Also if I get ipod, should I just but i phone? It's a MP3 player upgrade and phone upgrade in one. Dose actual phone function still suck?

Use a USB audio adapter. You can then use the 3.5mm audio jack on your phone, connect it to the adapter for USB connection to your car.

MMM..... good idea. No control but I get wired sound at least.

I wonder how much better the real usb ipod connection would sound compared to this solution. It's going to be heard over a very high quality stereo system.

I used to use my ipod with the 3.5mm jack on my stereo and the sound was good, although not as good as using a USB thumbdrive with music on it.

There in lies the answer. Not as good means not good enough. I broke down and bought ipud touch 2day. now izza got da droid and da fruit OS's. If i get the EVO I can link the ipod up wifi anywere -cool.

Not like you can with an iPod. Apple has worked with car stereo manufacturers to develop the iPod interfaces. There's no Android equivalent for all Android devices.

Some devices can output audio via USB but that doesn't include control of the device like the iPod interfaces offer.
